Here's Kianna helping Grandpa put up the much needed baby gate... little did she know (at that point) what it would be used for.
Grandpa and Kianna spent some time outside in the nice fresh air... you may notice that Grandpa did put her jacket on... but if you look close there are no shoes or socks... good thing grandparents can get away with anything :)
We went to Wendy's for dinner on the last night that Grandma and Grandpa were here and Kianna wanted to learn what a straw was for. She got the concept but hasn't figured out how to suck the pop up yet.
Last week Grandma and Grandpa were able to come out here for a short visit and got a chance to spend lots of time with us and Kianna. Since Kianna is walking now, and getting faster by the day, we enlisted Grandpa's help while they were here to install the baby gate. Now I get a break from chasing her down the hallway every five minutes! Kianna's quickly learned what the gate is and doesn't always appreciate having it closed, but does like to giggle when it's open and she gets a chance to "lock" us into the kitchen area.
