Orlando Continued #4

One of Kianna's favorite days was at SeaWorld. She enjoyed all of the animals!
Kianna's number 1 favorite thing I think we would say was the hotel pool. She's definitely a water baby!
We were very lucky on our last full day in Orlando and were able to meet up with and spend the day with Amanda and her sister Dacia. It was great to see her again.
The kids all had a great time together! And below is the whole family in front of the registration desk at the Orange County golf and country club where we stayed.

Orlando Continued #3

Getting ready for a very late night... the electric parade and then the fireworks.
After the fireworks Kianna just kept going and joined the whole family for a trip on the "It's a small world" ride.

The sunny weather was such a nice change!
Finally a picture of the whole family - our day at SeaWorld

Orlando Continued #2

We had fun watching Kianna meet lots of characters... she wasn't too sure about the ones in the full costumes and got along best with the princesses.

We also got to go to Chef Mickey's Character Buffet with the whole family. It was a lot of fun and a good chance for Kianna to meet Mickey, Minney, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. The food was good and Kianna had fun dancing to the music and being with the whole family.
Kianna was never too sure about the characters, so it worked best when either Joe or I stood between her and them. Even better was that she wasn't afraid to give them a high five or a kiss; she just didn't want them to touch her - but who can blame her for that.

Orlando Continued #1

Easter morning we all had breakfast together and then the girls helped Kianna look for the hidden eggs around the condo. After a short devotional with Joe's dad we all set off for the parks again.
Kianna felt right at home in Pooh's house - it was the perfect size!
Kianna loved all the colors, sights and sounds on all of the rides... it was fun to watch her having a good time!
Kianna, Dad and Goofy - what a great picture!
On occation if we didn't make it back to the condo before Kianna's nap she would simply fall asleep in her stroller or while being carried. You know a kid is really tired when they can fall asleep with all the excitement around them!

Orlando

We had a wonderful trip down to Orlando with Joe's family... beautiful weather and a great time overall. We were very lucky to have such a great daughter; who at 21 months old was a trooper! Through it all- long flights, five parks in 6 days and some very late nights she still woke up every morning and from every nap with a big smile on her face and ready for whatever was next. As you'll see in some of the pictures she wasn't always sure of the big crowds, the lines and the characters, but she had a great time and also loved the chance to spend time with Baba and Dido as well as her cousins!

Our first stop was get Kianna some Mickey ears and an autograph book - doesn't she look cute!
Kianna's first ride (all of our first ride) at Disney World was Aladin's Magic Carpet Ride. Kianna loved that she got to control the up and down.
The first day at Magic Kingdom we also got to watch the parade - with an extra treat of seeing Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny go by before the parade started. She loved watching all the action and got up and danced along with the music too.
As we were leaving the park at the end of day one, Kianna decided that she was tierd (who can blame her after a long day of flying the day before and not getting to the condo until almost midnight) and sat down on the sidewalk for a little break.
When we got back to the condo, and after swimming for a little while with her cousins Kianna wanted to show off her Mickey ears for Baba and Dido.

Sorry it's been sooo long

Kianna has discovered how to smile for the camera - and now enjoys squinting her eyes and giving us a big grin. Her and Joe got to go down to Calgary for a short overnight with BaBa and DiDo as well as Scott and Sandi and the kids (Steven had hockey). They had a blast and Kianna had fun watching the airplanes and the people outside at the airport.

Kianna also came back with a new wardrobe - big thank you to BaBa. The day that they got home Kianna wanted to put on her new bathing suit and swim in Mom and Dad's bathtub. It was pretty cute.
